In the 24th minute of the match Adnan Khulus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fayez Abdul Hamid skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Aatif Abdul Hakim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fayez Abdul Hamid came out of the goal and Khalil Ghalib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fayez Abdul Hamid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aatif Abdul Hakim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uthman Abou Zaki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kareem Zidan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Heathrow Airport United's Uthman Abou Zaki got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamam Omar made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aatif Abdul Hakim in the 53rd minute of play forced Heathrow Airport United's goalkeeper Fayez Abdul Hamid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kareem Zidan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamam Omar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamam Omar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Ali Fariq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Aatif Abdul Hakim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fayez Abdul Hamid. That made the score 0-1 in the 85 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Newton Aycliffe's Fayez Abdul Hamid threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aatif Abdul Hakim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
