Kamel Tawfiq scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anwar Mashrouf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Aatif Sajid fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chester-le-Street FC's protests and gave Aatif Sajid a yellow card for diving instead. Aatif Sajid kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akram Shaker in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilyas Fakhro saved Chester-le-Street FC from getting behind. Akram Shaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilyas Fakhro having to interfere. A collision led to Chester-le-Street FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Abdul Majid Husam hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Kamel Tawfiq got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Kamel Tawfiq who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Welwyn Garden City FC's Anwar Mashrouf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Asad Muzzammil hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match.
