The audience was convinced that Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fouad Zaki was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Fouad Zaki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Younis Sabeeh's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Aboud Yazan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 19th playminute. Gateshead City's Fouad Zaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab in the 24th minute of play. Zakariya Abdul Nasser kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab in the 28th minute of play forced Gateshead City's goalkeeper Fouad Zaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Younis Sabeeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Hook got a freekick which was hit by Samir Qudamah. Fouad Zaki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 40th play minutes Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Fouad Zaki and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Gateshead City booed when Hook was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Qudamah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fouad Zaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gateshead City's Fouad Zaki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab made a kick off. Gateshead City's Fouad Zaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yamen Abou Jisser in the 55th minute of play. Fouad Zaki made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab sent off a good shot on target. Fouad Zaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramez Rajab in the 69th minute of play. Wasil Idris came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fouad Zaki could save by the left post. Wahid Mammar Chaouche hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gateshead City's Kareem Abbas got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Hook's Wasil Idris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fouad Zaki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Fouad Zaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Younis Sabeeh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fouad Zaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Gateshead City's goalkeeper Fouad Zaki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab. When the final whistle sounded Hook left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gateshead City.
