The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Walid Idris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Akram Labib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akram Labib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walid Idris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ismail Al Asad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walid Idris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Akram Labib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akram Labib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walid Idris, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Imad Rajab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawoud Ayham having to interfere. In the 25th minute Walid Idris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akram Labib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismail Al Asad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cheltenham United's Akram Labib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismail Al Asad in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Cheltenham United booed when Bakewell United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamodi Ayser didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Walid Idris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asad Mujab in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dawoud Ayham saved Bakewell United from getting behind.

After 52 played minutes Cheltenham United got a freekick which was hit by Salah el Din Awwab. Akram Labib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walid Idris, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cheltenham United's zone, Ismail Al Asad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akram Labib came out of the goal and Ismail Al Asad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bakewell United booed when Cheltenham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah el Din Awwab didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Rawan Khulus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cheltenham United's Akram Labib didn't even have to move. After having played for 61 minutes, Walid Idris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakewell United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walid Idris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akram Labib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walid Idris's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Ismail Al Asad struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Akram Labib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bakewell United. After a rather tough play, Bakewell United's Hamodi Ayser got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ismail Al Asad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walid Idris might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akram Labib. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walid Idris ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Akram Labib successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 86 minutes, Asad Mujab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheltenham United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asad Mujab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bakewell United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
