Wahid Umayyah's late challenge caught a CEDAR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wahid Umayyah helped the player get up and apologised. Wahid Umayyah hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ayman Azhar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulaiman Abdul Hamid in the 37th minute of the match. Sulaiman Abdul Hamid took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ayman Azhar. Ayman Azhar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Nassar Zayed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al Mabarra Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nassar Zayed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohammad Nadal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nassar Zayed showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 57 minute of play. Ayman Azhar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulaiman Abdul Hamid, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Al Mabarra Club's Ayman Azhar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khaled Abdul Shakur in the 62nd minute of play. If Sulaiman Abdul Hamid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When CEDAR FC's Sulaiman Abdul Hamid in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CEDAR FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
