When Wassim Sadeq came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Royal Oak United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wassim Sadeq couldn't finish the play. Beirut Maronites AC's Imad Zidan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zafar Mazid in the 9 minute of the game. The supporters of Royal Oak United booed when Beirut Maronites AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amer Ramiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Beirut Maronites AC's Imad Zidan got a free kick in the 17th minute. Beirut Maronites AC's Fawaz Abou Fakr managed to work through Royal Oak United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fawaz Abou Fakr dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Wassim Sadeq received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Salah Tawfiq tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aboud Shareef struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Salah Tawfiq didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Oak United. In the 27th minute, Jabbar Abou Fayouz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Beirut Maronites AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imad Zidan to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Jibril Qudamah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beirut Maronites AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Oak United the free kick. Jibril Qudamah kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Amer Ramiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The wind increased when Wassim Sadeq made the kick off in the second half. Adel Alhasan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wassim Sadeq kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Zakour Walif made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Fawaz Abou Fakr sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Tareq Rajab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salah Tawfiq was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The supporters of Royal Oak United booed when Beirut Maronites AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamil Miyaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fawaz Abou Fakr's late challenge caught a Royal Oak United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Beirut Maronites AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salah Tawfiq should have stopped the shot. Tareq Rajab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salah Tawfiq having to make a save. In the 74th match minute, Royal Oak United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adel Alhasan to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Beirut Maronites AC's Jibril Qudamah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zakour Walif narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Oak United's zone, Amer Ramiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zakour Walif came out of the goal and Amer Ramiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Royal Oak United's Zakour Walif got control of the ball when Fawaz Abou Fakr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fawaz Abou Fakr in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zakour Walif prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th match minute, Royal Oak United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adel Alhasan to maneuver through the defense. Royal Oak United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
