Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Masoud Abdul Qadir started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bashar Bakri saved Rayleigh from getting behind. A collision led to Rayleigh getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Zafar Maymun hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, Anwar Ghanim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hitchin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayleigh the free kick. After 11 played minutes Hitchin got a freekick which was hit by Anwar Ghanim. Bashar Bakri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 14th minute of the match. If Qazim Qudamah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The tension between the Hitchin and the Rayleigh players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hitchin getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Qazim Qudamah hit a great ball. Talib Ghanim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qasim Talab in the 37th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Ubaid Ghanim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qasim Talab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qasim Talab in the 42nd minute of play forced Hitchin's goalkeeper Talib Ghanim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rayleigh's Bashar Bakri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 44th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Masoud Abdul Qadir made a precise shot to the right of Bashar Bakri. Rayleigh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Rayleigh players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hitchin were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Qasim Talab to strike the kick off in the second half. Rayleigh's Bashar Bakri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Masoud Abdul Qadir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hitchin's supporters rose to their feet, but Masoud Abdul Qadir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bashar Bakri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hitchin's Hamad Rashid got a free kick in the 68th minute. Masoud Abdul Qadir took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bashar Bakri. Bashar Bakri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 77 played minutes Hitchin got a freekick which was hit by Anwar Ghanim. After 78 played minutes Hitchin got a freekick which was hit by Said Faraj. After 80 played minutes Rayleigh got a freekick which was hit by Abdul Rahman Abou Fakr. After 83 played minutes Hitchin got a freekick which was hit by Said Faraj. In the 87th minute, Abdul Rahman Abou Fakr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Said Faraj sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bashar Bakri skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hitchin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
