Nazim Maalem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hamad Muwaffaq tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Azmi Tawfiq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes Croydon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fouad Malik. Habib Al Harith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaid Basim, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Hassan Abou Fakr took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamad Muwaffaq. Hamad Muwaffaq dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Croydon AFC's Ayoub Tayyib got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Nazim Maalem came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Norbury United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazim Maalem couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Hassan Abou Fakr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamad Muwaffaq. Croydon AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hassan Abou Fakr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ubaid Basim during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saer Labib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Nazim Maalem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamad Muwaffaq was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaman Imad during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Croydon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Yaman Imad. 35 minutes into the match, Fouad Malik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Habib Al Harith. Norbury United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fouad Malik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Moneer Aziz charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moneer Aziz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Norbury United booed when Croydon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moneer Aziz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamad Muwaffaq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saer Labib in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hassan Abou Fakr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hassan Abou Fakr struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hamad Muwaffaq didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norbury United. 68 minutes into the match, Croydon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nazim Maalem came free, but Hamad Muwaffaq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Habib Al Harith successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nour al Din Abou Zaki took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamad Muwaffaq. Hamad Muwaffaq dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 83rd minute Mahdi Fawaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamad Muwaffaq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Riad Maalem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamad Muwaffaq showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahdi Fawaz in the 87th minute of the match. Hassan Abou Fakr took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamad Muwaffaq. Hamad Muwaffaq dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Norbury United's Nazim Maalem got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Norbury United's goalkeeper Habib Al Harith had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaid Basim. There was no doubt that Norbury United were the better team. Norbury United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
