An unexpectedly hard shot by Yehia El Askar in the 19th minute of play forced Croydon AFC's goalkeeper Hamad Muwaffaq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diya Muzzammil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tamir Touffah took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamad Muwaffaq. Hamad Muwaffaq dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Yehia El Askar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamad Muwaffaq having to make a save. With a little luck, Yateley City's Rafe Jabbar got control of the ball when Fouad Malik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diya Muzzammil in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafe Jabbar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Croydon AFC's Diya Muzzammil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafe Jabbar. Rafe Jabbar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Hamad Muwaffaq showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yehia El Askar, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With 39 minutes on the clock, Tahir Razin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Rafe Jabbar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anwar Hanif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamad Muwaffaq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamir Touffah in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diya Muzzammil made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Fouad Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croydon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fouad Malik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafe Jabbar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diya Muzzammil in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Croydon AFC's Fouad Malik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafe Jabbar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Hamad Muwaffaq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riad Budail in the 61st minute of play. Rafe Jabbar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayoub Tayyib in the 72nd minute of play. Diya Muzzammil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Yateley City's zone, Moneer Aziz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafe Jabbar came out of the goal and Moneer Aziz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Diya Muzzammil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diya Muzzammil in the 80th minute of play forced Yateley City's goalkeeper Rafe Jabbar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamad Muwaffaq made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir sent off a good shot on target. After 82 played minutes Croydon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sulaiman Badir. In the 88th match minute, Croydon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moneer Aziz to maneuver through the defense. Riad Budail fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamad Muwaffaq having to interfere. Croydon AFC's Hamad Muwaffaq proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Croydon AFC from getting a goal against them. Despite being the better team, Yateley City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
