Omar Haddad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Beirut. Florencio Harri took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Haddad. Omar Haddad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Yin Bing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Omar Haddad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Haddad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hisham Mumtaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zahid Khashab kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Arif Egemen Karaca fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Beirut's protests and gave Arif Egemen Karaca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Arif Egemen Karaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Hisham Mumtaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Omar Haddad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Omar Haddad came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Beirut's Florencio Harri. But to his dismay, Florencio Harri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Afşin Derem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes Byblos Phéniciens got a freekick which was hit by Rafiq Fayyad. In the 35th minute, Tahir Yazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Byblos Phéniciens defense, Yin Bing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Haddad. The Byblos Phéniciens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Haddad should have stopped the shot. Omar Haddad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afşin Derem in the 44th minute of play. Hisham Mumtaz's late challenge caught a Byblos Phéniciens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hisham Mumtaz helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half Atletico Beirut were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Florencio Harri came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Atletico Beirut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Harri couldn't finish the play. Omar Haddad came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Beirut's Florencio Harri. But to his dismay, Florencio Harri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Omar Haddad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mostafa Malik, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Beirut's Afşin Derem slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Omar Haddad. That made the score 0-8 after 59 minutes of play. If Hisham Mumtaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes of play, Atletico Beirut's Hisham Mumtaz made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Haddad was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, Byblos Phéniciens's goal looked a bit too open when Mostafa Malik came free, but Omar Haddad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Afşin Derem in the 69thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Omar Haddad had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 71 minutes into the match, Byblos Phéniciens's goal looked a bit too open when Mostafa Malik came free, but Omar Haddad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Atletico Beirut's Mostafa Malik fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Hisham Mumtaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Haddad was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Florencio Harri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Haddad, 0-11. Omar Haddad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hisham Mumtaz went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. Yin Bing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Omar Haddad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Haddad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mostafa Malik in the 86th minute of play. After 90th play minutes Hisham Mumtaz shot 0-13, a short shot which went by Omar Haddad and just under the crossbar into goal. Afşin Derem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Omar Haddad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Byblos Phéniciens fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atletico Beirut were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
