When Tyre Football Club's Wasil Walif in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Athlétique Tripoli's goalie prevented a goal. Thawab Rihad came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Athlétique Tripoli's Bilal Khadra. But to his dismay, Bilal Khadra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, Tyre Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismail Talab to maneuver through the defense. Tyre Football Club's Thawab Rihad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tyre Football Club from getting a goal against them. After 26 minutes, Jamal Abdul Basir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tyre Football Club and the Club Athlétique Tripoli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jamal Abdul Basir hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Thawab Rihad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamzah Isso, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Zahid Badoume stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasil Walif's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Khaled Idris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tyre Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Athlétique Tripoli the free kick. Rawan Hayek charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rawan Hayek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Athlétique Tripoli getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rawan Hayek hit a great ball. Zahid Badoume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasil Walif in the 46th minute of play. During the 48th minute of the match Khaled Idris completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Khaled Idris a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Club Athlétique Tripoli booed when Tyre Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khaled Idris didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sobhi Touffah to strike the kick off in the second half. Zahid Badoume was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wasil Walif showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 53 minute of play. Sobhi Touffah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sobhi Touffah in the 62nd minute of play forced Tyre Football Club's goalkeeper Thawab Rihad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Hamzah Isso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thawab Rihad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tyre Football Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ismail Talab hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Club Athlétique Tripoli's goal looked a bit too open when Wasil Walif came free, but Zahid Badoume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Club Athlétique Tripoli got a freekick which was hit by Sobhi Touffah. Thawab Rihad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sobhi Touffah, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Club Athlétique Tripoli were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
