When Asad Azhar fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croydon AFC's protests and gave Asad Azhar a yellow card for diving instead. Asad Azhar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Croydon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hisham Mumtaz came free, but Hamad Muwaffaq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamad Muwaffaq was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hisham Mumtaz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. The supporters of Atletico Beirut booed when Croydon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naem Jabbar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamad Muwaffaq was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Croydon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hisham Mumtaz came free, but Hamad Muwaffaq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Atletico Beirut's Mostafa Malik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mostafa Malik scored 10-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamad Muwaffaq, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Yin Bing came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Atletico Beirut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yin Bing couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Beirut fully deserved thier win.
