Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thawab Rihad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazim Maalem in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tyre Football Club's zone, Nour al Din Abou Zaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thawab Rihad came out of the goal and Nour al Din Abou Zaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uthman Sabeeh's late challenge caught a Tyre Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uthman Sabeeh helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Norbury United's Uthman Sabeeh got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Wasil Walif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khaled Idris in the 17th minute of play forced Norbury United's goalkeeper Habib Al Harith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yousef Benjaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Tyre Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nazim Maalem came free, but Thawab Rihad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Nazim Maalem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thawab Rihad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Tyre Football Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hassan Abou Fakr fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Thawab Rihad successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thawab Rihad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nour al Din Abou Zaki in the 33rd minute of play. Hassan Abou Fakr scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thawab Rihad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thawab Rihad was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Yousef Benjaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yousef Benjaro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Mahdi Fawaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wasil Walif made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Tyre Football Club defense, Nour al Din Abou Zaki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thawab Rihad. The Tyre Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thawab Rihad should have stopped the shot. Ismail Talab kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Nour al Din Abou Zaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Nour al Din Abou Zaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thawab Rihad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thawab Rihad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazim Maalem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thawab Rihad came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Norbury United's Hassan Abou Fakr. But to his dismay, Hassan Abou Fakr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Nour al Din Abou Zaki came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Norbury United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nour al Din Abou Zaki couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the game, Norbury United's Nazim Maalem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thawab Rihad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Yasin Zahid put in a rough tackle. After 94 played minutes Norbury United got a freekick which was hit by Nour al Din Abou Zaki. The supporters of Norbury United booed when Tyre Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saad Sajid didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Tyre Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Uthman Sabeeh came free, but Thawab Rihad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
