The referee ignored Byblos Phéniciens's protests and gave Shukri Ghanim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Byblos Phéniciens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shukri Ghanim to maneuver through the defense. When Nazim Maalem came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Norbury United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazim Maalem couldn't finish the play. Nour al Din Abou Zaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Hassan Abou Fakr's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Haddad was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38thth minute of the game Hassan Abou Fakr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Byblos Phéniciens's Omar Haddad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hassan Abou Fakr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

But to his dismay, Hassan Abou Fakr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With his leg Omar Haddad managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Norbury United's Hassan Abou Fakr fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The goalkeeper, Omar Haddad, was totally fooled by Norbury United's Uthman Sabeeh, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Nour al Din Abou Zaki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norbury United's supporters rose to their feet, but Nour al Din Abou Zaki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Haddad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Byblos Phéniciens getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Zafir Romad hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nazim Maalem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Omar Haddad. That made the score 0-5 in the 72 minute of play. A collision led to Norbury United getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Uthman Sabeeh hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qazim Al Tufail in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Habib Al Harith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Byblos Phéniciens getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Talib Iskander hit a great ball. Uthman Sabeeh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Haddad was a little too slow when Nazim Maalem got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-7. Hassan Abou Fakr might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Haddad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hassan Abou Fakr ran back to his position shaking his head. Norbury United played a much better game than Byblos Phéniciens and deserved their victory. The Byblos Phéniciens players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
