Spectators: 9643 (Terracing: 7050, Seating: 2493, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Imad Ilias made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Hisham Mumtaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falah Abou Fakr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Star Beirut's Falah Abou Fakr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wakil Husam in the 6th minute of play. In the 12th minute Wakil Husam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falah Abou Fakr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Star Beirut's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miroslaw Ogrodowicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico Beirut's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hisham Mumtaz in the 15th minute of play forced Red Star Beirut's goalkeeper Falah Abou Fakr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Red Star Beirut's goal looked a bit too open when Hisham Mumtaz came free, but Falah Abou Fakr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Hisham Mumtaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falah Abou Fakr was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yin Bing in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falah Abou Fakr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falah Abou Fakr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yin Bing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Red Star Beirut's goal looked a bit too open when Afşin Derem came free, but Falah Abou Fakr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falah Abou Fakr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wakil Husam went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 29thth minute of the game Hisham Mumtaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Star Beirut's Falah Abou Fakr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Falah Abou Fakr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşin Derem, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Red Star Beirut's Falah Abou Fakr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hisham Mumtaz in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Hisham Mumtaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falah Abou Fakr. Red Star Beirut's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hisham Mumtaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 37 minutes of play, Atletico Beirut's Wakil Husam made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falah Abou Fakr was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yin Bing scored 0-6 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falah Abou Fakr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Falah Abou Fakr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afşin Derem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Atletico Beirut were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afşin Derem to strike the kick off in the second half. Falah Abou Fakr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hisham Mumtaz in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Yin Bing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Falah Abou Fakr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nasri El Hariri kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Red Star Beirut's Falah Abou Fakr got control of the ball when Afşin Derem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falah Abou Fakr was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Hisham Mumtaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Falah Abou Fakr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Bing in the 75th minute of play. Afşin Derem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Falah Abou Fakr having to make a save. Falah Abou Fakr was a little too slow when Hisham Mumtaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-12. Red Star Beirut's Falah Abou Fakr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hisham Mumtaz in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Atletico Beirut's Hisham Mumtaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. Falah Abou Fakr was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Hisham Mumtaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hisham Mumtaz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. 89 minutes into the match, Hisham Mumtaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Falah Abou Fakr, 0-15. 93 minutes into the game, Afşin Derem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Falah Abou Fakr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Atletico Beirut left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Red Star Beirut.
