Spectators: 8587 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2487, VIP seats: 100) Croydon AFC's Diya Muzzammil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diya Muzzammil in the 4th minute of play forced Byblos Phéniciens's goalkeeper Omar Haddad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Qazim Al Tufail left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Byblos Phéniciens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 11th minute, Badr Abdul Basir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Byblos Phéniciens's goal looked a bit too open when Diya Muzzammil came free, but Omar Haddad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qazim Al Tufail let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 15th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. In the 20th minute Fouad Malik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Haddad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Croydon AFC's Ubaid Basim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Haddad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Byblos Phéniciens's zone, Moneer Aziz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Haddad came out of the goal and Moneer Aziz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Croydon AFC's goalkeeper Hamad Muwaffaq had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qazim Al Tufail. In the 32nd minute, Tahir Razin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Haddad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diya Muzzammil in the 35th minute of the match. Croydon AFC's Diya Muzzammil got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaid Basim in the 39th minute of play forced Byblos Phéniciens's goalkeeper Omar Haddad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tahir Yazan hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Ubaid Basim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Croydon AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tahir Razin hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qazim Al Tufail made a kick off. Omar Haddad was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Diya Muzzammil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diya Muzzammil really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 55thth minute of the game Diya Muzzammil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Byblos Phéniciens's Omar Haddad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Fouad Malik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Ubaid Basim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Haddad, 2-3. After 62 played minutes Croydon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Moneer Aziz. Omar Haddad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ubaid Basim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 68 minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Croydon AFC's Fouad Malik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Haddad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. Omar Haddad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaid Basim in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Croydon AFC's Ubaid Basim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Omar Haddad. Omar Haddad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. After 84 minutes of play, Croydon AFC's Ayoub Tayyib made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Haddad was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th match minute, Croydon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asad Azhar to maneuver through the defense. Byblos Phéniciens's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Ubaid Basim scored to the left of an out of position Omar Haddad, making the score, 2-9. The Croydon AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
