Spectators: 6857 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1857, VIP seats: 0) Basel Al Ghanem started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Fletching FC defense, Basel Al Ghanem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamad Al Gareb. The Fletching FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamad Al Gareb should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Fletching FC's zone, Moath Al Wazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamad Al Gareb came out of the goal and Moath Al Wazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamad Al Gareb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basel Al Ghanem went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute of the match Zaher Al Gareb sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamad Al Gareb skillfully saved the ball. Hamad Al Gareb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moath Al Wazan in the 21st minute of the match. Adem Al Matrok made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Talal Baroun sent off a good shot on target. When Talal Baroun came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Fletching FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Talal Baroun couldn't finish the play. Hurst Green's Moath Al Wazan got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moath Al Wazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hurst Green getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Zaher Al Gareb hit a great ball. Talal Baroun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Shaban Al Najdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fletching FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaban Al Najdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adem Al Matrok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osama Al Dekhel hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Shaban Al Najdi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adem Al Matrok having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Talal Baroun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fletching FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Talal Baroun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adem Al Matrok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moath Al Wazan in the 46th minute of play forced Fletching FC's goalkeeper Hamad Al Gareb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamad Al Gareb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basel Al Ghanem's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Bahaa Al Hammady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hamad Al Gareb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fletching FC's Hamad Al Gareb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basel Al Ghanem in the 54th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Shaban Al Najdi made a precise shot to the right of Adem Al Matrok. Hurst Green's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Moath Al Wazan in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hamad Al Gareb, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aadil Al Mosawe charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aadil Al Mosawe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aadil Al Mosawe kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Moath Al Wazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Fletching FC got a freekick which was hit by Ebrahem Al Hadhod. In the 76thth minute of the game Basel Al Ghanem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fletching FC's Hamad Al Gareb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Talal Baroun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adem Al Matrok. Hurst Green's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Talal Baroun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Moath Al Wazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basel Al Gareb charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basel Al Gareb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
