But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaban Al Najdi couldn't finish the play. If Ahmad Al Hadhod had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Talal Baroun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Al Naser SC's Yaqoot Al Hajraf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaban Al Najdi in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Ahmad Al Hadhod recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hamad Al Gareb. Ahmad Al Hadhod showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Al Naser SC's goal looked a bit too open when Shaban Al Najdi came free, but Yaqoot Al Hajraf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamad Al Gareb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmad Al Hadhod in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Al Naser SC's goal looked a bit too open when Talal Baroun came free, but Yaqoot Al Hajraf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talal Baroun scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yaqoot Al Hajraf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aadil Al Mosawe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talal Baroun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaqoot Al Hajraf having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Ahmad Al Hadhod managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al Naser SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmad Al Hadhod was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yaqoot Al Hajraf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaban Al Najdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Al Naser SC's goal looked a bit too open when Monther Shamsah came free, but Yaqoot Al Hajraf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Naser SC's Yaqoot Al Hajraf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Al Naser SC from getting a goal against them. Shaban Al Najdi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yaqoot Al Hajraf having to make a save. Ahmad Al Hadhod sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fletching FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
