Mahdi Al Harban's late challenge caught a Horsham AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mahdi Al Harban helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Romanalafia FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mahdi Al Harban hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasser Al Dowaisan in the 21st minute of play forced Romanalafia FC's goalkeeper Mnawer Al Srae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Horsham AFC's Aamir Al Rodhan got control of the ball when Nemir Al Fadhalah tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 25 minutes on the clock, Zahid Al Khaled commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Mahdi Al Harban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mahdi Al Harban made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mahdi Al Harban in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aamir Al Rodhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Morad Bo Abbas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mnawer Al Srae. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 58th minute Yasser Al Dowaisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mnawer Al Srae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mnawer Al Srae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fahhad Al Rodhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romanalafia FC's Mnawer Al Srae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasser Al Dowaisan in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Romanalafia FC booed when Horsham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jawad Al Enzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Nemir Al Fadhalah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mnawer Al Srae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasser Al Dowaisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Mnawer Al Srae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morad Bo Abbas in the 89th minute. After 93 played minutes Romanalafia FC got a freekick which was hit by Salem Al Mahmed. Yasser Al Dowaisan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Mnawer Al Srae made a huge save. Horsham AFC played a much better game than Romanalafia FC and deserved their victory. The Romanalafia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
