If Morjan Al Fadhalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Yaqoub Bo Hamad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bram Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, El Arabi's goal looked a bit too open when Monther Al Mansor came free, but Fadhel Al Herz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Al Yarmouk Kuwait were awarded a corner. Mahmoud Al Bloshi went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Al Yarmouk Kuwait's Talal Al Adsani got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Qasem Al Saleh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Arabi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al Yarmouk Kuwait the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamzah Al Motar got free with Fadhel Al Herz in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Morjan Al Fadhalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talal Al Adsani kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Qasem Al Saleh came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the El Arabi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qasem Al Saleh couldn't finish the play. Sanad Khorshed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Faris Al Srae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Al Yarmouk Kuwait was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talal Al Adsani to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Yaqoub Bo Hamad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bram Kiewit was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hamzah Al Motar struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Fadhel Al Herz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al Yarmouk Kuwait. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mnawer Abo Al Hasan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Al Yarmouk Kuwait's goal looked a bit too open when Yaqoub Bo Hamad came free, but Bram Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 50 minutes of play, El Arabi's Yaqoub Bo Hamad made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bram Kiewit was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in El Arabi's zone, Morjan Al Fadhalah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fadhel Al Herz came out of the goal and Morjan Al Fadhalah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 minutes of play, Al Yarmouk Kuwait's Hamzah Al Motar made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fadhel Al Herz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bram Kiewit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mnawer Abo Al Hasan in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Al Yarmouk Kuwait's goal looked a bit too open when Sanad Khorshed came free, but Bram Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fadhel Al Herz came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Al Yarmouk Kuwait's Monther Al Mansor. But to his dismay, Monther Al Mansor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After some careless play in the El Arabi defense, Morjan Al Fadhalah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fadhel Al Herz. The El Arabi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fadhel Al Herz should have stopped the shot. Mosalam Al Bloshi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morad Al Ali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hamzah Al Khames fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Arabi's protests and gave Hamzah Al Khames a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Al Yarmouk Kuwait booed when El Arabi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamzah Al Khames didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hamzah Al Motar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morjan Al Fadhalah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Morjan Al Fadhalah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fadhel Al Herz. El Arabi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Morjan Al Fadhalah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Al Yarmouk Kuwait had played much better football throughout.
