If Hamzah Al Motar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morjan Al Fadhalah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, Hamzah Al Motar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Al Yarmouk Kuwait fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Morjan Al Fadhalah received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fahad Al Besher came out and tried to block the shot, but Morjan Al Fadhalah slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. If Hamzah Al Motar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bram Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mosa Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Belal Al Abdullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahad Al Besher having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Hamzah Al Motar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fahad Al Besher came out of the goal and Hamzah Al Motar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khaled Al Besher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fahad Al Besher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Morjan Al Fadhalah came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Al Yarmouk Kuwait fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morjan Al Fadhalah couldn't finish the play. Mosa Al Sallal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bram Kiewit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamzah Al Motar to make the kick off. Hamzah Al Motar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Belal Al Abdullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fahad Al Besher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morjan Al Fadhalah in the 57th minute of the match. If Mosalam Al Bloshi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Basel Abol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al Yarmouk Kuwait the free kick. Mosalam Al Bloshi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Al Yarmouk Kuwait's zone, Yasen Khorshed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bram Kiewit came out of the goal and Yasen Khorshed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yasen Khorshed's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bram Kiewit firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hamzah Al Motar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Morjan Al Fadhalah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fahad Al Besher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Morjan Al Fadhalah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al Yarmouk Kuwait's supporters rose to their feet, but Morjan Al Fadhalah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fahad Al Besher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fahad Al Besher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morjan Al Fadhalah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Al Yarmouk Kuwait's Bram Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mosa Al Sallal in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Al Yarmouk Kuwait was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belal Al Abdullah to maneuver through the defense. Bram Kiewit made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Barakat Al Mehana sent off a good shot on target. Bram Kiewit was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Barakat Al Mehana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barakat Al Mehana really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 91st minute, Basel Abol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al Yarmouk Kuwait walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
