Sajid Al Hashash took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mnawer Al Srae. Romanalafia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Shabab Alahli getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Faris Al Besher hit a great ball. Yousef Al Dabos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mnawer Al Srae. Mnawer Al Srae dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faris Al Besher in the 25th minute of play forced Romanalafia FC's goalkeeper Mnawer Al Srae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Nemir Al Fadhalah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalaf Al Bloshi. Shabab Alahli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemir Al Fadhalah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Baqer Al Rifaee lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 37 minutes into the game, one of Romanalafia FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 46th minute Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mnawer Al Srae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-3 became the score in the 47th minute when Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Shabab Alahli were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Romanalafia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yousef Al Dabos to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Romanalafia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar came free, but Mnawer Al Srae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Romanalafia FC defense, Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mnawer Al Srae. The Romanalafia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mnawer Al Srae should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Romanalafia FC's goalkeeper Mnawer Al Srae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faris Al Besher. Mnawer Al Srae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faris Al Besher went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. A collision led to Romanalafia FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ali Al Sarraf hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mnawer Al Srae. That made the score 1-7 in the 79 minute of play. The supporters of Shabab Alahli booed when Romanalafia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Al Sarraf didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Mnawer Al Srae to make any attempt to save it. Romanalafia FC's Qutada Abo Al Hasan got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mnawer Al Srae was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. When the match was over Shabab Alahli could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Romanalafia FC throughout the match.
