Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harrison Oduor started the match with the kick off. Mwangi Oduor's late challenge caught a Billingham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mwangi Oduor helped the player get up and apologised. Mwangi Oduor hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Kipchoge Atieno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Denno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kimutai Korir charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kimutai Korir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Kimutai Korir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harrison Oduor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harrison Oduor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kipchoge Atieno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Francis Leakey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Githinji Kevoo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Wilfred Kosgei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryde City. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Harrison Oduor put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kipchoge Atieno. Walter Denno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kipchoge Atieno having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Harrison Oduor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billingham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harrison Oduor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tony Githinji Kevoo was the one to do the kick off. Kenneth Kanana kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Kipchoge Atieno was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Naftali Osyanju. Walter Denno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kipchoge Atieno having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Harrison Oduor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kipchoge Atieno was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Ryde City's Kipchoge Atieno got control of the ball when Walter Denno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Controller Rudisha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ryde City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Billingham City the free kick. After 65 played minutes Ryde City got a freekick which was hit by Controller Rudisha. Walter Denno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gideon Kosgei kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, George Akinyi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Billingham City's Wilfred Kosgei didn't even have to move. Tony Githinji Kevoo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfred Kosgei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Kimutai Korir hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Wilfred Kosgei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Githinji Kevoo in the 79th minute of play. Ryde City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by George Akinyi in the 81st minute. In the 81st match minute, Ryde City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Kagai Muhoho to maneuver through the defense. Wilfred Kosgei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Githinji Kevoo in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Billingham City's Kimutai Korir got a free kick in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Ryde City's goal looked a bit too open when Harrison Oduor came free, but Kipchoge Atieno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
