Kevin Wambua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kipchoge Atieno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tony Githinji Kevoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Ryde City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Obala to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Tony Githinji Kevoo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Charles Obala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Wambua to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Tony Githinji Kevoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Koech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Obala showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Dennis Koech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Githinji Kevoo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Arsenal's Kevin Wambua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kipchoge Atieno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Charles Obala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Koech having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Ryde City got a freekick which was hit by Francis Leakey. Dennis Koech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Githinji Kevoo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Dennis Koech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Githinji Kevoo in the 98th minute of play.
