Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Imathiu in the 3rd minute of play forced Fletching's goalkeeper Njuguna Leakey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jefferson Chege managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fletching's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Chege was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sammy Waheto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The nice shot from Jefferson Chege in the 13thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sammy Waheto had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If William Ogot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Victor Imathiu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Oburu Kosgei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Njuguna Leakey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Njuguna Leakey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Ogot in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Musa Bungei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Jefferson Chege managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fletching's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Chege was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Hextable getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dan Otieno hit a great ball. When Josephat Ngeny fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fletching's protests and gave Josephat Ngeny a yellow card for diving instead. Josephat Ngeny kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Fletching's Njuguna Leakey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Imathiu in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Japhet Vinii was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hextable's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fletching the free kick. In the 45th minute, one of Hextable:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hextable.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Oduor made a kick off. The supporters of Hextable booed when Fletching was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josephat Ngeny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Njuguna Leakey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Ogot went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Samuel Oduor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Waheto having to interfere. Josephat Ngeny kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes, Hextable's Musa Bungei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Njuguna Leakey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hextable reached it. Hextable's Victor Imathiu got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If William Ogot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Otieno charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Otieno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sammy Waheto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Chege in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Wangari Muta Mohamed sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sammy Waheto skillfully saved the ball.
