Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emmanuel Kipketer kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmanuel Kipketer in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Imathiu saved Conen Stars FC from getting behind. The supporters of Caistor booed when Conen Stars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antony Rotich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Wainaina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Felix Imathiu made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Musimbi Konga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hassan Obala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. David Omar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Imathiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Kipketer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Hassan Obala made the kick off in the second half. David Omar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Obala in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 minutes, Felix Roy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caistor and the Conen Stars FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Caistor's David Omar got control of the ball when Musimbi Konga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conen Stars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hassan Obala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Omar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Hassan Obala in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, Caistor's David Omar got control of the ball when Musimbi Konga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Kipchoge Denno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Musimbi Konga got free with David Omar in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Omar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hassan Obala showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 68 minute of play. If Emmanuel Kipketer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patrick Wainaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st play minute Musimbi Konga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Omar. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Conen Stars FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
