Emmanuel Kipketer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gideon Onsare having to interfere. Nashon Kivilu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christopher Chepkemei made a kick off. Christopher Chepkemei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Caistor getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kipchoge Denno hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Christopher Chepkemei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Omar was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Emmanuel Kipketer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gideon Onsare having to interfere. Axbridge's Gideon Onsare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Wainaina in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Patrick Wainaina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Axbridge's Gideon Onsare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yobes Ondieki's late challenge caught a Caistor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yobes Ondieki helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Axbridge got a freekick which was hit by Yobes Ondieki. 87 minutes into the game, Patrick Wainaina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gideon Onsare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axbridge's Christopher Chepkemei got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Kipketer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gideon Onsare. Axbridge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emmanuel Kipketer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Caistor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
