Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Musa Limo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samson Kobia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Musa Limo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, John Kiplagat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christopher Chepkemei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stephen Saleh Nabhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephen Saleh Nabhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samson Kobia having to make a save. Samson Kobia was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Christopher Chepkemei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christopher Chepkemei really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Wilson Leakey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gideon Onsare was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Stephen Saleh Nabhan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Samson Kobia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stephen Saleh Nabhan scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samson Kobia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stephen Saleh Nabhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samson Kobia having to interfere. Gideon Onsare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Lagat in the 40th minute of play. Christopher Chepkemei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samson Kobia having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Christopher Chepkemei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Axbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Chepkemei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samson Kobia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christopher Chepkemei to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Musa Limo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Axbridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Bilali in the 56th minute of play forced Axbridge's goalkeeper Gideon Onsare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axbridge's Gideon Onsare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Axbridge from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that John Bilali's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gideon Onsare was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Christopher Chepkemei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samson Kobia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Christopher Chepkemei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samson Kobia having to interfere. Stephen Saleh Nabhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Samson Kobia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverpool's Samson Kobia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Saleh Nabhan in the 74th minute of play. John Kiplagat hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Samson Kobia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Saleh Nabhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Kiplagat kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. John Lagat took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gideon Onsare. Gideon Onsare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Saleh Nabhan in the 88th minute of play forced Liverpool's goalkeeper Samson Kobia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, John Lagat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Lagat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
