Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Onsare kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Nigel Akinyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Kivilu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mahmoud Kipruto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Onsare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nigel Akinyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Daniel Ekombe came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the asenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Ekombe couldn't finish the play. Mahmoud Kipruto was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Martin Onsare capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Onsare really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Nigel Akinyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel Akinyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Kivilu having to interfere. If Daniel Ekombe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mahmoud Kipruto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Onsare in the 37th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Daniel Ekombe made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chylla FC's Michael Kivilu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Daniel Ekombe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Kivilu was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Martin Onsare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mahmoud Kipruto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 75 played minutes Chylla FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Ogot. If Daniel Ekombe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Ekombe in the 89th minute of play forced Chylla FC's goalkeeper Michael Kivilu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Kivilu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Ekombe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Evans Ngoka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The asenal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
