Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengizhan Baycan in the 5th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengizhan Baycan in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Cengizhan Baycan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengizhan Baycan in the 15th minute of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Felipe Barreto sped through Cactos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bran Allison. Viriato Moura struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bran Allison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 26th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Cactos's Conrado Capixaba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 30th minute of play. Maurinho Trezeguet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Maurinho Trezeguet slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 34th minute. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 38th minute of play. Bran Allison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes in the game, Viriato Moura dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Ademir Rodrigues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cengizhan Baycan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Bran Allison was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Barreto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 54 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Felipe Barreto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bran Allison. The goal made the score 4-3. Cactos's Dorival de Carvalho was substituted for Conrado Capixaba. Cactos's Matias Gaitan was substituted for Maurinho Trezeguet. The corner led Portugal's Fabricio Andrade to a score. 4-4 in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Luisinho Maciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Cactos's Ademir Rodrigues was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Maciel in the 83rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Cactos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portugal:s goal. The goalkeeper, Bran Allison, was totally fooled by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 91 minutes into the game, Cactos's Luisinho Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-5. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Caetano Moreira hit a great ball. Matias Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Luisinho Maciel notched a goal, 6-5, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
