Joseph Akida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dann Kigotho in the 3rd minute of the match. Michael Chepchumba lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in aterbu fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Walthamstow a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ali Ndereba, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of aterbu fc's Joseph Akida. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dann Kigotho in the 10th minute of play forced aterbu fc's goalkeeper Joseph Akida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Dann Kigotho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of aterbu fc's Joseph Akida. Joseph Akida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joseph Akida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dann Kigotho in the 15th minute of play. Joseph Akida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Matu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Samson Akinyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. aterbu fc's Joseph Akida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Matu in the 24th minute of play. Joseph Akida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ratemo Akinyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Dann Kigotho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Akida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Akida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dann Kigotho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47thth minute of the game Dann Kigotho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but aterbu fc's Joseph Akida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Dann Kigotho made the kick off in the second half. John Matu had several of the aterbu fc's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Joseph Akida as he didn't even see the shot coming. Joseph Akida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dann Kigotho in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, John Matu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of aterbu fc's Joseph Akida. Joseph Akida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dann Kigotho in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Akida saved aterbu fc from getting behind. Dann Kigotho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Akida having to interfere. The supporters of Walthamstow booed when aterbu fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samson Akinyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, John Matu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walthamstow's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Matu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Martin Bommet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dann Kigotho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. John Matu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Akida having to interfere. If Dann Kigotho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Walthamstow could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than aterbu fc throughout the match.
