If Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antony Kimeu's late challenge caught a Slim Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antony Kimeu helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Timsbury! Wilfred Waheto had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Edmund Kush's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 29th minute, Siaree Nzeki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yobes Waruinge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Slim Team's Yobes Waruinge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siaree Nzeki in the 32nd minute of play. Yobes Waruinge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siaree Nzeki, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julius Sulumeti during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilson Mbindyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yobes Waruinge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Timsbury's Siaree Nzeki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yobes Waruinge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Slim Team's Norbert Matiba got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfred Waheto was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Kagai Kariuki kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Timsbury's goalkeeper Wilfred Waheto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yobes Waruinge made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Siaree Nzeki sent off a good shot on target. When Mo Kobia fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slim Team's protests and gave Mo Kobia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Slim Team getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mo Kobia hit a great ball. Wilfred Waheto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Slim Team getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Benjamin Kimutai Kimathi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Mbindyo in the 78th minute of play forced Slim Team's goalkeeper Yobes Waruinge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Slim Team's Norbert Matiba made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfred Waheto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilson Mbindyo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yobes Waruinge came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilson Mbindyo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 86th minute. If Siaree Nzeki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siaree Nzeki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yobes Waruinge having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ben Imathiu during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Slim Team getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ben Imathiu hit a great ball. When Siaree Nzeki came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Timsbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siaree Nzeki couldn't finish the play.
