In the 9th minute Njeri Nyamau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfred Waheto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfred Waheto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Njeri Nyamau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redcar AFC's Joe Akinyi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 minutes of play, Redcar AFC's Njeri Nyamau made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfred Waheto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 57 minutes, Siaree Nzeki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timsbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siaree Nzeki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Redcar AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ngina Bilali hit a great ball. Ngina Bilali kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ondoro Muchoki came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Timsbury's Wilson Mbindyo. But to his dismay, Wilson Mbindyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siaree Nzeki in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ondoro Muchoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ondoro Muchoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Mbindyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Redcar AFC's Ondoro Muchoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siaree Nzeki in the 68th minute of play. Wilfred Waheto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Akinyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Siaree Nzeki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Wilson Mbindyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redcar AFC's Ondoro Muchoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilson Mbindyo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ondoro Muchoki. Ondoro Muchoki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kagai Kariuki during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kagai Kariuki hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Joe Akinyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Wilfred Waheto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Siaree Nzeki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondoro Muchoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ondoro Muchoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Sande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Timsbury fans cheered their team off the field, for while Redcar AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
