Joe Akinyi kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Paul Kevoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ondoro Muchoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Mutuku in the 8th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Yusuf Mutuku in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 13 minutes into the match, man town's Yusuf Mutuku sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ondoro Muchoki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Paul Kevoo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ondoro Muchoki was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Paul Kevoo managed to get in a good position for a shot. man town's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Kevoo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ondoro Muchoki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Paul Kevoo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the man town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Kevoo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, man town's Wilson Ogot got a free kick in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Kevoo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ondoro Muchoki saved Redcar AFC from getting behind. Wilson Ogot took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ondoro Muchoki. Ondoro Muchoki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wilson Ogot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Sulumeti in the 40th minute of play forced Redcar AFC's goalkeeper Ondoro Muchoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Ogot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ondoro Muchoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ondoro Muchoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Ogot, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. If Martin Kivilu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yusuf Mutuku made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusuf Mutuku in the 52nd minute of play forced Redcar AFC's goalkeeper Ondoro Muchoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Joe Akinyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Saitoti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ondoro Muchoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for man town. In the 72nd minute, Njeri Nyamau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redcar AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Joe Akinyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Saitoti having to interfere. Francis Saitoti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Akinyi in the 77th minute of the match. If Rodgers Kosgei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Kevoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ondoro Muchoki having to interfere. Ondoro Muchoki was a little too slow when David Sulumeti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Paul Kevoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. man town's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
