In the 19th minute Benjamin Kimutai Pinches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mo Njoroge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mo Njoroge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josephat Kigotho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Kalonzo Ongao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Riri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mekatilili Waheto went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mekatilili Wahetos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Michael Riri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 36 minutes into the game, Benjamin Kimutai Pinches was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surbiton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave panthera nix the free kick. Josephat Kigotho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Mo Njoroge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jawahir Oduor in the 62nd minute. Wilson Nekesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Riri having to interfere. Mo Njoroge was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Jawahir Oduor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jawahir Oduor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Surbiton AFC's Michael Riri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Kiptanui in the 74th minute of play. Josephat Kigotho hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Mekatilili Waheto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Riri having to interfere. Mo Njoroge was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Daniel Dawkins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Dawkins really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After 93 played minutes panthera nix got a freekick which was hit by Mekatilili Waheto. Lucas Kiptanui's late challenge caught a Surbiton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Kiptanui helped the player get up and apologised. Although panthera nix had been in control for most of the match, Surbiton AFC still came away with the win.
