Ondoro Muchoki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to RICHARD getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mwangi Mutuli hit a great ball. With his leg Ondoro Muchoki managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when RICHARD's Peter Chepchumba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute, Wilson Rono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RICHARD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ngina Bilali hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. RICHARD's George Owino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Redcar AFC. 27 minutes into the match, RICHARD's goal looked a bit too open when Njeri Nyamau came free, but John Oloo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Rono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, RICHARD's Wilson Rono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ondoro Muchoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titus Wangeci, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Akinyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, RICHARD's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Akinyi came free, but John Oloo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Redcar AFC's zone, Wilson Rono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ondoro Muchoki came out of the goal and Wilson Rono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wilson Rono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Redcar AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Duncan Temu hit a great ball. If Njeri Nyamau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Redcar AFC's zone, Titus Wangeci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ondoro Muchoki came out of the goal and Titus Wangeci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ondoro Muchoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Onyango in the 86th minute of the match. Ondoro Muchoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titus Wangeci in the 87th minute of play. Ondoro Muchoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Rono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Rono struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ondoro Muchoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RICHARD. After having played for 92 minutes, Titus Wangeci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RICHARD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Titus Wangeci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
