Mo Njoroge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu in the 13th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Norbert Matiba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mo Njoroge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the panthera nix defense, Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mo Njoroge. The panthera nix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mo Njoroge should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, panthera nix's Benjamin Kimutai Kobia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. A hard shot 29 in the game by Mekatilili Waheto from a close distance when the talented Yobes Waruinge managed to make a qualified save. Slim Team's players were relieved. After some careless play in the panthera nix defense, Mo Kobia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mo Njoroge. The panthera nix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mo Njoroge should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mo Njoroge. panthera nix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. With an all-out effort, panthera nix's Yobes Waruinge threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Moses Gichuki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mo Njoroge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

Norbert Matiba did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-4 to the left of a surprised Mo Njoroge 57 minutes into the match. Moses Gichuki kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Mo Njoroge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Matiba in the 62nd minute of the match. Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mo Njoroge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Slim Team's zone, Mekatilili Waheto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yobes Waruinge came out of the goal and Mekatilili Waheto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Julius Sulumeti could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Mo Njoroge however easily saved by the left post. Mekatilili Waheto scored 4-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yobes Waruinge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, panthera nix's Mo Njoroge got control of the ball when Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yobes Waruinge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mekatilili Waheto's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Mo Njoroge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julius Sulumeti in the 83rd minute. Slim Team's Yobes Waruinge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Kiptanui in the 86th minute of play. Benjamin Kimutai Kobia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yobes Waruinge having to make a save. 90 minutes into the game, Dan Ntalami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-5. Yobes Waruinge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Mekatilili Waheto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Slim Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Imathiu to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
