Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joshua Ngigi started the match with the kick off. Evans Muttendago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Muhoho having to interfere. Dove Holes's Dennis Muhoho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Ngigi in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of East Dulwich booed when Dove Holes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Gathoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Dove Holes's goalkeeper Dennis Muhoho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evans Muttendago. Ratemo Kobia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dennis Muhoho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes East Dulwich got a freekick which was hit by Kibak Kevoo. 21 minutes into the match, East Dulwich's goal looked a bit too open when Kassim Roy came free, but Dan Oduor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Kassim Roy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dove Holes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dennis Muhoho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Ngigi in the 24th minute of play. The long shot by Abdilatif Wanjohi in the 31st minute really tested Dennis Muhoho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dan Oduor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kassim Roy, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Joseph Oduor's late challenge caught a East Dulwich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Oduor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dove Holes's Joseph Oduor got a free kick in the 35th minute. Abdilatif Wanjohi didn't quite understand what happened when in the 36 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Joshua Ngigi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Wangila kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Dove Holes getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Christopher Gathoni hit a great ball. Daniel Keino got in the 42nd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Dennis Muhoho and thus it was 1-1. A collision led to East Dulwich getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kibak Kevoo hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Kassim Roy made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joshua Ngigi in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Muhoho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joshua Ngigi took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Muhoho. Dennis Muhoho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evans Muttendago in the 59th minute of play forced Dove Holes's goalkeeper Dennis Muhoho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Joshua Ngigi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dove Holes's Dennis Muhoho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joshua Ngigi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Muhoho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Lawo Onyii's late challenge caught a East Dulwich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lawo Onyii helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Dove Holes got a freekick which was hit by Lawo Onyii. If Evans Muttendago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dove Holes's zone, Joshua Ngigi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Muhoho came out of the goal and Joshua Ngigi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joshua Ngigi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dennis Muhoho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. East Dulwich were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dove Holes for a fine match.
