The attack was good, but when Curtis Kemboi in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When David Imathiu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Plumpton Green FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Imathiu couldn't finish the play. If Curtis Kemboi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute David Imathiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ibrahim Ngoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gosport United's Ibrahim Ngoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Kemboi in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Curtis Kemboi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ibrahim Ngoka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute David Imathiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ibrahim Ngoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curtis Kemboi scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ibrahim Ngoka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, David Imathiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ibrahim Ngoka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. David Imathiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ibrahim Ngoka made a huge save. Curtis Kemboi struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ibrahim Ngoka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plumpton Green FC. Ibrahim Ngoka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Kemboi in the 90th minute of play. Curtis Kemboi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Curtis Kemboi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibrahim Ngoka having to interfere. If Curtis Kemboi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Plumpton Green FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gosport United.
