The supporters of Aylesbury booed when Kemsing United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jawahir Shikanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Aylesbury's goal looked a bit too open when David Chege came free, but Leopoldo Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Kimeu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fred Denno charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Denno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leopoldo Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jawahir Shikanda in the 21st minute of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hidayet Sati sped through Kemsing United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dennis Uche. The crowd rose to their feet as Kemsing United's Bonaventure Pinches slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Paz. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. Hidayet Sati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Jawahir Shikanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Paz came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Kemsing United's David Chege. But to his dismay, David Chege quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Aylesbury's goalkeeper Leopoldo Paz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Kimeu. Leopoldo Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Chege in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Kemsing United's goal looked a bit too open when Hidayet Sati came free, but Dennis Uche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
