Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Swaleh Chemjor kicked off to start the match. In the 12th minute Swaleh Chemjor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Omosh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Solfam fc's David Mwangi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Solfam fc from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Solfam fc's David Mwangi got control of the ball when Peter Oundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Rugeley's Peter Oundo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Mwangi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Solfam fc's goalkeeper David Mwangi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Oundo. David Mwangi made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fredrick Kiprop sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Swaleh Chemjor in the 22nd minute of play forced Rugeley's goalkeeper Vincent Omosh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Mwangi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Oundo in the 24th minute. Deepak Wanjohi kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Gabriel Gathoni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Mwangi. Solfam fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. David Mwangi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Oundo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If George Okoth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, George Okoth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Mwangi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Dan Oloo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rugeley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Oloo couldn't finish the play.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Swaleh Chemjor got free with Vincent Omosh in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Moses Imathiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Kigotho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vincent Omosh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rugeley fans cheered their team off the field, for while Solfam fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
