In the 21st minute, Solfam fc's Wilson Kigotho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Kagai Java. David Kagai Java yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Wilson Kigotho took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for David Kagai Java to make any attempt to save it. David Kagai Java made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moses Imathiu in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Malcolm Murunga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Mwangi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Swaleh Chemjor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Kagai Java having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, FC Jasolohna's goalkeeper David Kagai Java had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moses Imathiu. David Kagai Java made an important save on a dangerous shot by Swaleh Chemjor in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Swaleh Chemjor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Solfam fc's Kipchoge Lukoye nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Kagai Java made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. FC Jasolohna's David Kagai Java played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Swaleh Chemjor in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Swaleh Chemjor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Kagai Java was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 69 minutes, Fazul Odeke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Solfam fc and the FC Jasolohna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Jasolohna booed when Solfam fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazul Odeke didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Paul Kariuki notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of FC Jasolohna's David Kagai Java. David Kagai Java was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Solfam fc's Clinton Nyamau got a free kick in the 77th minute. Philip Mutuli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Wilson Kigotho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Kagai Java saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Kagai Java came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Solfam fc's Swaleh Chemjor. But to his dismay, Swaleh Chemjor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Mohammed Limo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. David Kagai Java showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kipchoge Lukoye, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, FC Jasolohna's goal looked a bit too open when Swaleh Chemjor came free, but David Kagai Java reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Solfam fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
