Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kipchoge Wambua made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Lucas Kosgei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 minutes, Dan Oloo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Whitton's John Origi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Whitton's John Origi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Whitton from getting a goal against them. If Jehovah Bilali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dan Oloo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Origi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Peter Oundo in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of John Origi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dan Oloo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Gathoni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Peter Oundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but John Origi made a huge save. Vincent Omosh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrick Israel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Peter Oundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. John Origi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kipchoge Wambua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Omosh having to interfere. John Origi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Oloo in the 38th minute of play. Peter Oundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. John Origi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dan Oloo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Whitton's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Oloo came free, but John Origi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredrick Israel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Dan Oloo made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Fredrick Israel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrick Israel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kipchoge Wambua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Peter Oundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Origi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Oloo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Rugeley's goal looked a bit too open when Kipchoge Wambua came free, but Vincent Omosh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Dan Oloo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rugeley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whitton the free kick. In the 87th minute, George Okoth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Peter Oundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John Origi. Whitton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Oundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Fredrick Kiprop hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Rugeley players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
