David Kagai Java took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Wangeci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Murunga in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Keino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stocksbridge's Samuel Keino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Stocksbridge from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malcolm Murunga in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Keino saved Stocksbridge from getting behind. In the 16th minute FC Jasolohna were awarded a corner. Philip Mutuli went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Jasolohna's Philip Mutuli to fire away a dangerous shot which Samuel Keino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Malcolm Murunga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Stocksbridge's zone, Mohammed Limo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Keino came out of the goal and Mohammed Limo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kiran Masai kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Malcolm Murunga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Keino. Malcolm Murunga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. David Kagai Java showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Mutheu in the 28th minute of the match. George Munji kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, FC Jasolohna's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Muchoki came free, but David Kagai Java reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stocksbridge's zone, Mohammed Limo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Keino came out of the goal and Mohammed Limo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malcolm Murunga took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Keino. Samuel Keino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Malcolm Murunga made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Malcolm Murunga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Jasolohna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Murunga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malcolm Murunga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zablon Kosgei came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Jasolohna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zablon Kosgei couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Malcolm Murunga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Keino was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Murunga in the 68th minute of play forced Stocksbridge's goalkeeper Samuel Keino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mo ibn Abi Bakr might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Kagai Java. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mo ibn Abi Bakr ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Mohammed Limo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Kagai Java was a little too slow when Mo ibn Abi Bakr got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-3. Stocksbridge's Samuel Keino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zablon Kosgei in the 87th minute of play. Malcolm Murunga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st match minute, Stocksbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Masai to maneuver through the defense. When Malcolm Murunga came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Jasolohna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Murunga couldn't finish the play. In the 96thth minute of the game Malcolm Murunga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stocksbridge's Samuel Keino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Although FC Jasolohna had been in control for most of the match, Stocksbridge still came away with the win.
