Spectators: 8600 (Terracing: 6500,
Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) FC Jasolohna's Malcolm Murunga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Whitton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naftali Ogot to maneuver through the defense. David Kagai Java made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrick Israel in the 5th minute. If George Munji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Jasolohna were furious when Silvano Mwaura was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Jasolohna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Whitton's Jehovah Bilali got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of David Kagai Java. FC Jasolohna's Malcolm Murunga got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohammed Limo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Origi having to interfere. David Kagai Java showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kipchoge Wambua in the 20th minute of the match. David Kagai Java made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fredrick Israel sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naftali Ogot in the 24th minute of play forced FC Jasolohna's goalkeeper David Kagai Java to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Jasolohna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Fredrick Israel scored to the left of an out of position David Kagai Java, making the score, 2-0. In the 30th minute, Fredrick Israel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whitton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. David Kagai Java made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Fredrick Israel sent off a good shot on target. Zablon Kosgei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Origi having to interfere. Malcolm Murunga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. John Origi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malcolm Murunga in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Origi saved Whitton from getting behind.
52 minutes into the match, FC Jasolohna's Kiran Masai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Origi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Kagai Java showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naftali Ogot in the 53rd minute of the match. FC Jasolohna's David Kagai Java played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kipchoge Wambua in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Philip Mutuli managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Jasolohna's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Mutuli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Origi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Whitton's Fredrick Israel got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Fredrick Israel made a precise shot to the right of David Kagai Java. FC Jasolohna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. David Kagai Java showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kipchoge Wambua, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Whitton's Fredrick Israel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Kagai Java made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Douglas Waroo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Kipchoge Wambua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Kagai Java. FC Jasolohna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kipchoge Wambua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Whitton had won after a very even match.
