Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Moses Rubia took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, one of Acinus City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Acinus City. The referee gave Accrington a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eliud Njenga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Acinus City's Charles Ogot. 1-0. Moses Rubia in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Charles Ogot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Moses Rubia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Ogot having to interfere. Peter Temu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Masai having to interfere. John Ocholla's late challenge caught a Acinus City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Ocholla helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Acinus City booed when Accrington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Ocholla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Joseph Kimutai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurice Masai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Accrington's Maurice Masai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Ondieki in the 34th minute of play. Peter Temu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Masai having to interfere. Moses Rubia struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Charles Ogot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Accrington. Peter Temu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Temu made a kick off. Charles Ogot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moses Rubia in the 51st minute of the match. Charles Ogot came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Accrington's Moses Rubia. But to his dismay, Moses Rubia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francis Ondieki got free with Maurice Masai in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francis Ondieki might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurice Masai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francis Ondieki ran back to his position shaking his head. Moses Rubia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ratemo Nekesa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Ogot having to make a save. Moses Rubia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephen Anush hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ratemo Nekesa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moses Rubia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Peter Temu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Acinus City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Temu couldn't finish the play. Peter Temu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurice Masai came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Temu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 90th minute. Francis Ondieki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Ratemo Nekesa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Ogot was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
