With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Waroo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samson Kiptanui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. John Waroo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moses Akinyi in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Botswana Meat Commission's Tom Kipkoech sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Waroo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. John Waroo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samson Kiptanui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Wangila during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Chingford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Wangila to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes, Botswana Meat Commission's Jomo Leakey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper John Waroo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. John Waroo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samson Kiptanui's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Daniel Koech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Waroo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samson Kiptanui in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Botswana Meat Commission's Samson Kiptanui ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind John Waroo. John Waroo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. If Samson Kiptanui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Samson Kiptanui made a precise shot to the right of John Waroo. Chingford AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. Samson Kiptanui's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, John Waroo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rd minute, Jomo Leakey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Botswana Meat Commission left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chingford AFC.
