Philip Munji took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John Waroo. Chingford AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chingford AFC's John Waroo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Chingford AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Josephat Adhiambo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Waroo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Waroo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Controller Waithaka in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Wycliff Lukoye was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hazel Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chingford AFC the free kick. Wycliff Lukoye kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Hazel Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Munji to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hazel Sport Club booed when Chingford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazul Ogot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Lucas Griffin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Nyamau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Mbindyo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Julius Nyamau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Griffin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Josephat Adhiambo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hazel Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Josephat Adhiambo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Waroo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zedekiah Mohamed kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Lucas Griffin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julius Nyamau having to make a save. The Hazel Sport Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chingford AFC were winning 0-1.

John Waroo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josephat Adhiambo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Josephat Adhiambo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Waroo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Josephat Adhiambo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chingford AFC's John Waroo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Josephat Adhiambo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Controller Waithaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. John Waroo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Waroo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Controller Waithaka in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Lucas Griffin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chingford AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Griffin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hazel Sport Club's Josephat Adhiambo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Chingford AFC's Duncan Masai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julius Nyamau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. George Wangila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
