Acinus City's Charles Ogot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Acinus City from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Paul Musyoka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charles Ogot. Paul Musyoka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. James Sarun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Charles Ogot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Ogot was a little too slow when Paul Musyoka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. Acinus City's Charles Ogot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Musyoka in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, David Mulama fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Paul Musyoka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Ogot was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Temu was the one to do the kick off. Githinji Mbugua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Temu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Joseph Kimutai hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Peter Temu fired away a shot on goal.
