George Wanjiru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christopher Leakey having to make a save. Jeruto Muttendago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dann Okoth in the 4th minute of the match. Mahmoud Birir's late challenge caught a Team Name's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mahmoud Birir helped the player get up and apologised. Mahmoud Birir hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Controller Biwott in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bayswater's Christopher Kariuki. When George Wanjiru came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bayswater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Wanjiru couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Team Name's zone, Christopher Kariuki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Leakey came out of the goal and Christopher Kariuki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dann Okoth struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jeruto Muttendago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Name. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Githinji Waweru in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Leakey saved Team Name from getting behind. In the 28th minute George Wanjiru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Leakey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, George Wanjiru made a precise shot to the right of Christopher Leakey. Team Name's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Christopher Leakey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Githinji Waweru, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 47th minute George Wanjiru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Leakey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Wanjiru made a kick off. The throw-in from Controller Biwott in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bayswater's Christopher Kariuki. 55 minutes into the match, Team Name's goal looked a bit too open when George Wanjiru came free, but Christopher Leakey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Githinji Waweru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christopher Leakey. That made the score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. Christopher Leakey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Wanjiru, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Christopher Leakey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Team Name's Patrick Alfie got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Team Name was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Alfie to maneuver through the defense. Christopher Leakey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Githinji Waweru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Leakey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Wanjiru's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, George Wanjiru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Alfie kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, one of Team Name:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Christopher Leakey, was totally fooled by Bayswater's Githinji Waweru, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bayswater eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
